Erik Weihenmayer

I just come across this video that i find very inspiring while doing my EOM about this guy Erik Weihenmayer. I will like to particularly quote this phrase said at the end of the video by him, "Dont expect to be good, expect to struggle and fall down and bleed a little and embrace the blood, because thats a part of experience that you will look back and be proud of and that will eventually be the fuel that wil drive you to even higher places".

Isnt that beautiful? Inspired! I will like to climb everest with him one day if I have the chance!

No $, Found Feeling

I hate the feeling of being POOR!

And I just found the feeling of playing basketball. The feel just like when I was still in Secondary 3/4. Life was great, no stress, just basketball everyday after school till 6pm, wearing the stinky uniform after that and boarding the bus. Best days of my life!

Area 6 ATC 2008

Just came back from a 3 days 2 night adventure training camp at Pulua Ubin. 1st word that came to my mind when I reached home, SLEEP. Slept for 2 hours on the first night and about 5 for the second. Woke up late this morning where everyone should be awake at 6am while I woke up at 7.30am and took my own sweet time to brush my teeth. And phone reception was bad there as at some part of the campsite has zero reception, we can neither receive message nor make out calls. Below heres are some of the photos I took, though not of high quality but please enjoy! haha

Todays economics paper was pretty alright. What I had study came out like elasticity, inflation and unemployment. But I had forgotten some parts of elastcity. I should have started earlier to study and not wait till the last minute. I think I would have done better this time round. I still had my last paper on wednesday, which is South East Asia History. Must read up more now, I say now but my body is not moving haha.

Tomorrow there is still floorball training from 1230pm to 3pm. And I will be receiving my jearsey number 1 tomorrow, Whoot! A division will start on thursday and our first match will be with VJC at RP floorball hall. Good luck guys!

Mid Year X-zam!

Its been awhile since I last updated.

Currently is the exam period and Im seriously got nothing up there on my head. Miracle will happen, like DREAM ON! haha!

Today was having Chinese and MOB paper, as usual chinese was nothing to be afraid of as I have never failed chinese in my whole entire life but MOB is something to be fear of as its my weakest subject and as usual I dont think Im gonna pass it this time round too.

Tomorrow will be Economics paper and I hope I can do well for it. And by the way for those who read this, the format for tomorrow economics paper is on 2 case study. This information is confirmed by my economics teacher and geran's. Thanks to Benjamin for this super useful information.

There will be no paper on wednesday and guess Im gonna use it to work on my maths. Maths paper on thursday. Hope this time round I will be able to pass my maths as I have hire a maths tutor, and hope those money spent will pay off. And maths is like my weakest weakest weakest subject. LOL!

Really hope this exam period will past soon..

10Mins30Secs

During one of my training (Credits - Pearlin)

Timing for my 2.4km today is 10Mins 30 Secs. The fastest I've ever ran in my life. It was 11Mins 40 Secs 2 weeks ago and I hope to reach 10mins soon.

I started pacing and using my Captain Nadzir as a target for me. By doing so, it kind of distracted me from the fatigue feeling that I've got. I overtook him on the 5th lap and did some signs to taunt him, but by the 6th lap somewhere near the finishing line he ran past me and completed 7 secs(Nadzir's timing: 10Mins 23Secs) before me. But Im Contented. =)

And I swear to beat his timing the next time.

I was Self-Satisfied about breaking my own records and gave a Smug grin.

And Im going for the 42.195km this coming December.

Vietnam Trip

Im looking forward to the study trip to Vietnam in May. Hope that day comes fast. I have not gone out of Singapore for the past 2 years I guess. So just make use of this chance to relax but I know its not holiday, Im there to learn haha. And I think Vietnam is a beautiful country!

Camps..

Having camp from thursday to saturday at the holding school of peicai secondary. The school is damn old and rumours said that its haunted. Instruction was to sleep outside the staff room, and I wanted to sneak into the classroom to sleep since the wall is low and it will be easy to climb in. But drop that idea as my senior tell me that its really haunted especially in the classroom.

Worse part it that the school dosent have bathing facilities and we have to use pails of water to bath. Thats the first time I use pails to bath since the last time which was about 10 years ago where my family and I was on holiday in Indonesia at some kampong areas. Experience ar! haha!

Lunar New Year 2008

Happy New Year to all ! New year new begining 新年新希望. This years chinese new year is not as enjoyable as last year as places that my family and I normally go for visiting (拜年) has decreases. Reason being for that arrangement is save time where all gather at one house and meet up there. But I dont care actually, as long as the amount of ang baos (红包) I get remain the same and hopefully the content inside is as usual. HAHA. Still it's not very enjoyable due to the fact Common Test 统一测验 is just after chinese new year. General Paper on Monday 11/2/08. And how on earth did they set it on that day. DUMB.

Business Law Lecture In 4 days, New Song To Page

Having the luxury of attending 4 days of business law lacture has really benefited me a lot. In the sense to know wheather what am I entitle to and not. To protect myself from entering a contract and agreement in unfair circumstances, and in some case the law dont cover you although you are treated of unfairly. Thats law. Personally I myself would like to have a taste of sueing someone in the future, not to be an asshole but for the taste of it. If what I had just said make you uncomfortable or in any case offended you, please dont hesitate and leave this page immediatly. Thanks.

Module - Business Law, nEbO Carnival

This week I will only be working on the weekends as Im having my diploma lessons on the weekdays in my school. The module this time is business law, sounds cool but its quite hard. Our leacturer is from NTU and a former lawyer, but the way he interact with us is just like a normal friend, nothing like a teacher to student way of talking. Troublesome as just the second day and we are given assignment to do. But the lesson is super slack as he gives us 15min extra for our lunch time and end the class early at about 3+, as the lesson suppose to end at 4pm.

Went to sentosa on sunday to take part in the nebo carnival for the floorball challenge, our school send in 3 boys team - M1, M2, M3. Having the mind of losing real quick and go home early but that mindset was change after the first match as we lost LOL. Soon we win every match and brought us to the loser bracket's semi finals, though we lost that match against northbrook but we did better then M1 and M2 as we got into the semi finals. Not that they are not good but just unlucky as their opponents are mostly from the national team or combined schools. Actually losing the semi finals was pretty unexpected as we will probably be knockout in 2 matches lol. Or lucky we didnt win the semi finals or we will be facing merahans in the finals and we will still lose like dogs, cause the merahans are damn fcuking good. I drank lots of milo that day cause the whole truck was there, cant remember when is the last time i drank from the milo truck, hmm probably in my secondary school days cross country run. Promotion and Work

Alright great Im promoted to year 2, something I wasnt expecting since I did quite badly. History which I expected to do badly came out to save me and filled the 1 H2 spot. I just find history damn hard, thinking to change the combination if I retain but nevertheless I like history and very intrested in it. I will try harder and improve on it. Working was fine, back to my old job and I love it. Things have changed there, the mangers, the system and the payment method. Cash payment method which I like a lot is change to bank payment, but I guess thats a good thing as I able to save money compared to spending it once I get it.

Gonna work and get tons of money from there.
